Who is Indian Hill Music?
Founded in 1985, Indian Hill Music School is one of the largest, most respected community music schools in New England. We strive to touch the lives of individuals, families and communities through quality music instruction. Our facility at 36 King Street in Littleton features 21 modern teaching studios and our 200-seat Camilla Blackman Recital Hall.
What Do You Offer?
Private and group lessons, classes, ensembles, and performance opportunities for all ages, abilities and styles. Our doors are open to everyone, from infants
to adults, from absolute beginners to aspiring professionals! Private lessons are offered in over 30 instruments, plus music theory and composition, in classical, jazz, blues, rock, pop, Irish, and folk styles.

How Do I Find a Teacher For Private Lessons?
Our
faculty consists of 75 teaching artists with advanced music degrees and professional experience. Private lesson students receive careful and personal placement
with a teacher who will match their personality, learning style and goals. New students have a four-lesson trial period to ensure a good match.

When Are Programs Offered?
Programs run year-round with Fall, Spring, and Summer Terms. Private lesson students sign up for 16-week terms in fall/spring. Registration for lessons is ongoing. Classes and ensembles begin on various dates each term.

We seek to foster the whole musician and supplement theory and technical training with instruction in good practice habits, healthy physical conditioning, and stress-free performance. Our generous

What Happens in the Summer?
We offer a flexible private lesson schedule along with classes, ensembles, and our Summer Music Festivals -- intensive, multi-week programs that encourage collaboration and the exploration of many musical styles. Festivals include SummerDayMusic for ages
8-18, SummerNightMusic for adults, and Summer-DayMusicalTheater for ages 8-18.
