KINDERMUSIK® SUMMER ADVENTURE CAMPS
Peek-A-Boo! I Love You! (Newborn to 1.5 yrs.)

All the small exchanges between you and your baby in the first year help her feel loved and forms the core of her emotional outlook on life and learning. That's the whole purpose behind this special camp.
More than just a curious story, Mother Goose games like peek-a-boo help your baby understand language. So in this
Peek-A-Boo! I Love You! camp, uncover more ways to say "I love you" using American Sign Language, soap bubbles, blue-star sponges, and parent-baby dances. Plus, you can meet with other newborns and families in the community and learn how music improves the child development process.
Creatures at the Ocean (Age 1.5 through 3 yrs.)

Pretend play and music make the most of a toddler's verbal and physical growth spurt. Plus, the one-on-one time away together gives your toddler the love and attention she craves.
In
Creatures at the Ocean, you’ll sing sailor songs and make the ocean count. "Five little seashells lying on the shore: Swish! Went the waves and then there were four." A CD and seashell castanets are included in the home materials to bring the ocean fun home during the week. There’ll be sand play, kite flying, instrument playing, singing and dancing to last all summer long!
Confetti Days (Age 3.5 to 5 yrs.)

Imagination is the opening act for problem solving and learning math. In the midst of pretend play your child strives for new words when she explains what she sees and what will happen next.
In
Confetti Days!, children throw a new party every day. They ride a carousel inside the classroom, play a balancing game and walk on the web of ropes. They’ll learn colors and sing the Spanish song "De Colores," sing "Pop Goes the Weasel," and dance to "Looby Loo." The circus-themed unit complete with monkeys, elephants, clowns and the big top is sure to be a big hit with preschoolers! Home materials include a pair of confetti bells and a pretend circus play set.
Around the World (Age 5 to 7 yrs.)

Your young child needs a balance between child-like things and the "big kid" stuff, so he has the confidence to do well in school and make new friends. Stress-free crafts and fun physical activities make this balance possible.
In
Around the World, children will say hello in five languages when they visit a new country each lesson:
Germany,
Japan, Africa,
England, and
Mexico. They’ll travel the world, singing the songs, and learning the customs and dances of other cultures. They’ll play the native instruments, drape sheets over cardboard boxes and sing over the German mountain tops, toss peanuts on the floor and bring good luck to one's home in a Japanese custom and even send messages in
Nigeria with "talking drums." There’s a craft activity related to the lesson each day and sampling of foreign food at snack time. The week closes with a fiesta, and the Mexican hat dance will have everyone shouting, “Ole!” Home materials include a CD, travel bag with stickers for each country, craft items, maracas and a 5 picture folders.

One convenient class that the family can take together. In this class, you'll play instruments and dance together, share and take turns, and see how music can bring you closer as a family
Our Kind of Day is a 5-lesson, multi-age, multi-child class that provides musical and developmental learning in a fun, family environment. See how music helps your family laugh together, share and take turns. One adult may bring one or more children to each class. Each additional child beyond the one adult/one child is welcome for an added fee.

A foot-stomping, hand-clapping, drum-playing class that teaches young children about the world of rhythm. Using percussion instruments, children will play games, sing and drum together, and communicate using rhythms and words. They will learn individual parts within a group ensemble and new techniques for each instrument.
Rhythm Club will expand a student’s capacity for learning music and personal interaction.
