FOR VOCALISTS
6:15 - 9:30 pm - $325 per person
Down through the ages, adult musicians have gathered together in small groups to perform chamber music. Parlors, pubs, schools, and street corners have all served as venues for formal and informal music making on a small scale. This wonderful tradition is alive and well at Indian Hill Music in our summernightmusic festival for vocalists.
Meeting over the course of six Wednesday evenings from 6:15 9:30 p.m., the festival will feature a variety of vocal chamber music opportunities. Musical selections will be tailored to the participant’s interests and voicing/instrumentation available. In addition to a chamber choir, smaller vocal ensembles will be established and coached by our talented and knowledgeable voice faculty. Participants are encouraged to submit repertoire ideas in advance. The vocal festival will culminate in a performance on Thursday, August 14 at 7:30 pm, accompanied by participants from the instrumental festival.
