Toddlers and trains make a natural matchalways on the move. Tag along this summer with a traveling zoo train. Bring your own stuffed animals for the petting zoo. Wear long white socks on your hands for polar bear paws and learn about real animals in the zoo. Sing songs for clapping time, and use music to help toddlers regulate emotions. Home Materials (included in the cost of tuition, a $29 value):

Classes for children who attended class without an adult caregiver. Adults and siblings are invited in at the end of each class for a brief (10-15 minute) sharing time.

Re-live your childhood with your child. Every song is likely to revive a memory from summers past. Play “Eye Spy” and find shapes in the clouds to pass the time. Through storytelling and music, children will develop an early awareness of rhythm, movement, singing and drama. Each lesson features a new tale from around the world, explored through multi-instrument and multi-cultural elements. All told, it’s an around-the-imagination adventure of the greatest stories from Europe,
Malaysia,

REGISTER
A foot-stomping, hand-clapping, drum-playing class that teaches young children about the world of rhythm. Using percussion instruments, children will play games, sing and drum together, and communicate using rhythms and words. They will learn individual parts within a group ensemble and new techniques for each instrument. Rhythm Club will expand a student’s capacity for learning music and personal interaction.

REGISTER
Eurhythmics teaches children the fundamentals of music through movement, singing, games and improvisation. By integrating their ideas, students become an active part of these dynamic and lively classes. These lessons support their social interaction and enhance ensemble skills, body and spatial awareness, coordination, balance, concentration, listening and imagination. Wonderful preparation for later instrumental study.
NOTE: This class is for children without adult caregiver. Adults and siblings are invited in at the end of each class for 10-15 minutes of sharing time.
