Seven-week program for adult instrumentalists

TUITION: $295 per person

PERFORMANCE: Wed, August 17, 7:30 pm

*Registering earlier will allow the coordinator and coaches
time to select and distribute music to participants before the
start of the festival.

Designed for the busy amateur musician, this festival offers a relaxed atmosphere for wind, string, harp, guitar, voice, piano & harpsichord players to perform chamber music in duos, trios, quartets and quintets. All students will have the opportunity to play in two ensembles, and will work with a variety of faculty coaches.

The Summernightmusic Festival will culminate in a concert on Wednesday, August 17 at 7:30 pm.

Student Placement:
ALL registrants must schedule a 15-minute audition/placement interview with festival coordinator,
Ashley Addington. Call the office at 978.486.9524 x114 to schedule.

Schedule of Audition Dates and Times:
Saturday, May 14 - 10:00 am-12:00 pm
Thursday, May 19 - 3:00-5:00 pm and 8:00-9:30 pm
Tuesday, May 31 - 5:00-8:00 pm

Please Note:
Students are allowed one absence during the festival (not August 10 or 17).

Additional practice time is available in Blackman Hall prior to the closing concert on August 17. Talk to your faculty coach or to the School Manager, Addy Buffum, to reserve a time.

Preparatory lessons can be scheduled for musicians wishing to work through the technical and interpretive details of their assigned pieces prior to the start of the festival. Please contact the School Manager, Addy Buffum, to discuss placement and schedule.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Indian Hill Music School reserves the right at any time to cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment. We will make every effort to hold all classes offered. In the case of a cancellation, those effected will be notified as soon as possible and a full refund will be issued if another suitable class is not available.
