Dance in a rainbow of colorful scarves, pretend you're an elephant, or join a jam session and play along with shakers, rhythm sticks, drums and more!

Our Early Childhood Department has several choices for joyful music-making, and we invite you to explore your options and find the class that's the best fit for you and your child/ren. From infant classes to classes for school-age children, we make learning music FUN for everyone! Hop, skip and jump on over and come PLAY with us. You'll go home with a song in your heart and a love of music that lasts a lifetime!

Cynthia Bliss
Cynthia Bliss
A.B., Smith College; M.S., University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Licensed and trained by Kindermusik International as an early childhood music teacher. Mrs. Bliss has worked with preschool-age children for more than 10 years. She has taught piano and flute privately since 1978. She is currently Director of Music at First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church in Chelmsford where she directs 3 youth choirs. She is also Chorus Director at Murdoch Middle Public Charter School in Chelmsford.

Carolyn Cantrell
Carolyn Cantrell
B.M. and Performer's Certificate, Eastman School of Music; graduate work at Boston University.

Ms. Cantrell has been teaching at Indian Hill since 1999. In 2005 she was trained and licensed by Kindermusik International. In addition to teaching, she is Principal Horn of the Orchestra of Indian Hill, and is a member of the Portland Symphony Orchestra, Boston Lyric Opera and the Boston Landmarks Orchestra..

Suzanne Buell
Suzanne Buell
A lifelong performer, Ms. Buell is a certified by Kindermusik International as an early childhood teacher, and has been teaching for over 3 years. She attended Boston Conservatory as a voice major and piano minor. She is a vocal instructor, and has taught private voice lessons in Gilroy, CA. Ms. Buell is a former recording artist for Stax records. She has appeared as soloist in choirs in Memphis and Santa Cruz, CA, as well as the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir. Locally, she performs with Concord Women's Chorus and Harvard Pro Musica. Ms. Buell has sung professionally for many years in bands in Memphis and Santa Cruz, and has recorded a CD of original songs. She has extensive recording experience, recording commercials and arranging background vocals for various artists.

Abe Finch
Abe Finch
B.M., University of Massachusetts; M.M., New England Conservatory. Principal teachers: Jeffrey Fischer, Fred Buda, and Will Hudgins.

Mr. Finch teaches percussion and percussion ensemble at many schools in Middlesex County, including Salem State, North Reading High, and Acton-Boxborough. Professionally, he has played with the Cambridge Symphonic Brass Ensemble, Revels, Speakeasy Stage Company, Cape Cod Academy of Performing Arts, and a host of others. Mr. Finch has been a featured soloist at both the New England Conservatory and the University of Massachusetts and coordinated the percussion section for the Revels production of "Noah's Flood".
