Our Early Childhood Department has several choices for joyful music-making, and we invite you to explore your options and find the class that's the best fit for you and your child/ren. From infant classes to classes for school-age children, we make learning music FUN for everyone! Hop, skip and jump on over and come PLAY with us. Pamela Espinosa

B.S., Florida State University.

Licensed and trained in 1996 by Kindermusik® International as an early childhood music teacher, Ms. Espinosa has worked with young children for decades in a variety of settings. She plays guitar and piano and has appeared as a vocalist with various groups in Florida, California and Massachusetts. In 1985, she performed as a cast member with the internationally acclaimed organization, Up With People. She is currently a music minister at St. Mary Parish in Chelmsford, where she resides, and she is co-song leader of the Threshold Choir at Indian Hill.
Cynthia Bliss

A.B., Smith College; M.S., University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Licensed and trained by Kindermusik International as an early childhood music teacher. Mrs. Bliss has worked with preschool-age children for more than 10 years. She has taught piano and flute privately since 1978. She is currently Director of Music at First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church in Chelmsford where she directs 3 youth choirs. She is also Chorus Director at Murdoch Middle Public Charter School in Chelmsford.
Carolyn Cantrell

B.M. and Performer's Certificate, Eastman School of Music; graduate work at Boston University.

Principal Horn for The Orchestra of Indian Hill, Ms. Cantrell is a member of the Portland Symphony Orchestra and performs with the Boston Lyric Opera, Boston Ballet Orchestra, Boston Landmarks Orchestra, Chorus Pro Music, and the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra. She was previously on the faculty at All Newton Music School and Wellesley Public Schools.
Rebecca Carroll

B.S. in Music Education, Eastern Nazarene College.

Ms. Carroll is licensed and trained by Kindermusik International as an early childhood music teacher. A trained Rhodes Piano Course teacher, pianist, vocal soloist and harpsichordist, she has taught piano and voice privately since 1978. She has also directed children's choirs at Boston's Park Street Church and the Clifton Church of the Nazarene in Cincinnati.
Abe Finch

B.M., University of Massachusetts; M.M., New England Conservatory. Principal teachers: Jeffrey Fischer, Fred Buda, and Will Hudgins.

Mr. Finch teaches percussion and percussion ensemble at many schools in Middlesex County, including Salem State, North Reading High, and Acton-Boxborough. Professionally, he has played with the Cambridge Symphonic Brass Ensemble, Revels, Speakeasy Stage Company, Cape Cod Academy of Performing Arts, and a host of others. Mr. Finch has been a featured soloist at both the New England Conservatory and the University of Massachusetts and coordinated the percussion section for the Revels production of "Noah's Flood".
Kristina Gemborys

B.M. in Music Ed., Anna Maria College

Ms. Gemborys is a 1993 graduate of Anna Maria College with a BM in Music Ed with a concentration in voice. She has been employed in public and private school systems teaching general music classes K-8, church choir, show choir, private lessons in various instruments and is also a certified Kindermusik® Educator.
Sue Gleason

B.M., New England Conservatory. Principal teachers: James Pappoutsakis, Lois Schaefer.

Ms. Gleason has appeared at Jordan Hall, Boston University, the Longy School, JFK Library, Boston College, and Thayer Conservatory. She performs throughout New England with the flute and harp duo, Wind Chimes, which has released several CDs since 1997.
Melissa Mistretta

A.S., Northern Essex Community College

Ms. Mistretta is licensed and trained by Kindermusik International as an early childhood music teacher. She presently plays guitar and keyboard, and is experimenting in african hand drumming. Previous musical experience includes youth guitar competitions, high school band and acappella choir, and trumpet performances with the Chelmsford Community Band and University Of Lowell. Melissa has worked with children as a medical professional for more than five years.
