| Percussion Abe Finch B.M., University of Massachusetts; M.M., New England Conservatory. Principal teachers: Jeffrey Fischer, Fred Buda, and Will Hudgins. Mr. Finch teaches percussion and percussion ensemble at many schools in Middlesex County, including Salem State, North Reading High, and Acton-Boxborough. Professionally, he has played with the Cambridge Symphonic Brass Ensemble, Revels, Speakeasy Stage Company, Cape Cod Academy of Performing Arts, and a host of others. Mr. Finch has been a featured soloist at both the New England Conservatory and the University of Massachusetts and coordinated the percussion section for the Revels production of "Noah's Flood". Lee Caron B.M., The Hartt School of Music; Boston Conservatory Lee Caron is a Boston-based percussionist, performing with orchestras and chamber groups throughout New England. He has also been a member of and performed with the Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps 3rd US INF (Escort to the President), The United States Army Band (Pershings Own), the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra, and was a cast member of the 2007 Edinburgh Military Tattoo in Edinburgh Scotland. Lee studied at the Hartt School of Music and the Boston Conservatory. Mark Wheeler B.M., Eastman School of Music; M.M. Boston University, College of Fine Arts. Principal teachers: Tim Genis, John Beck, Jeff Fischer Mark Wheeler is an active performer and educator in the Boston area. He has attended the Music Academy of the West summer festival in Santa Barbara, Tanglewood, and the Verbier Festival in Switzerland. With the Verbier Festival Orchestra, he toured Europe, Asia, and Australia under Herbert Blomstedt. Wheeler has had the privilege of working with several great conductors, including James Levine, Daniele Gatti, and Paavo Järvi. |
