Join percussionists Bob Otto, Bill Manley and Abe Finch on a creative journey featuring familiar and unfamiliar sounds and imaginative movement, from African dance rhythms and Brazilian samba to spirit-shaking stones, sticks and rattles. Recommended for ages

Mozart’s classic romantic comedy, which gently satirized many of the class, gender and social issues of the 18th century, is updated to the 1960s when conservative social traditions in America were about to be turned upside down. Fully-staged production presented by the Indian Hill Music School Opera Workshop. Directed by Mary Crowe, with music direction by Debra LeBrun.
Recommended for ages 12 and up.

Acclaimed photographer Susan Wilson and violinist Rebecca Strauss, the artistic team behind Melodic Vision, present a memorable and moving multimedia performance of slowly dissolving photographic images accompanied by live music from the Parisian cemetery’s composer-residents, including Chopin, Bizet, Lalo, Rossini, Pleyel, Edith Piaf, Stephane Grappelli, and Jim Morrison. Enjoy a relaxing evening of original instrumental jazz for trio and solo piano with great melodies and captivating improvisations. Acton physician Elliot Steger has extensive jazz and classical training and has released five CDs of original compositions. His tunes resonate with jazz, blues, pop, classical and new age influences. Proceeds from this concert will benefit the music education and performance programs of Indian Hill Music. Ticket price includes dessert reception.
